So this week has been pretty cool. At the beginning of the week, we were starting to make a ward mission plan. We had been told that the bishop and the ward council was super hard on mission plans and probably wouldn't approve anythng. We were super concerned about it. So the day that we made it I fasted. It was really hot and we were walking. I was dying haha. We had some great ideas for the ward mission plan that I know wernt our ideas. We made one document for the members and one for the the ward leaders. It turned out super good. The Castillos father passed away today so that was something really hard for them.
So something else happened that was way cool. So we have another investigator who is having a hard time with finding a new apartment. Her lease is up. We asked her how she was doing and she told us about her issue. We testified about the power of fasting and faith. We told her that we would fast with her if she fasted the next day. She said she would. That night we had a power outage and so we were not able to met with one of our appointments that we had. We visited him the next day (while we were fasting) and he wanted to buy us pizza. We told him that we couldn't eat and he asked why so we told him and he said he had 100 bucks for her. We were like no you don't have to do this. He said that ya he did. He felt like he should help her. That was a crazy cool miricle. We went and gave it to her. She started crying and was way overwhelmed. The down was 200 bucks but because she had the 100 the person put it on hold for her. That was amazing.
We also cleaned the church because the bishop has asked that no one do it so we did it haha. It was bad but now it's way clean and the bishop said thanks.
I got to go to the temple this week with a wonderful recent convert for his first time. We did baptisms for the dead. That was such an amazing experience. The Spirit was so strong! The San Diego temple is so dang beautiful. Every one who hasn't been there is missing out! I had a companion in the MTC that would tell me how beautiful it is. He was right. So amazing.
