Hello Y'all!
Hey everyone! I've been home for a little while. I went home in November and now I am back!! It's been a ride (literal ride...I'm on bikes now), but its been exciting. I'm so excited to be back serving a mission!
So I am whitewash training and opening a new area all at the same time. A whitewash is when two new missionaries enter the area. My trainee is named Elder Lewis from Florida. He's super awesome and loves to work. I'm excited to get back into it. We spend most of the week getting settled and used to the new area. We don't have any food at all and so we are living off eggs and ramen. But its all good in the hood for the Lord is my Shepherd so why should I fear? We are doing great! We only know about 9 people because that's how many people go to church up here in the Dos Picos Spanish branch in Ramona California.
Yesterday we were biking in our new area and these guys came out of their workplace and called us over. They said that one of them was celebrating his birthday and they had extra cake. He gave it to us and left. So then we biked around for about 30 minutes after that one hand on the bike and the other holding the cake. It was super broken when we ate it, but it was still super good! Elder Lewis rips all his pants while biking or getting into cars. It's hilarious. Actually it happened today. So.... we are going to Ross to buy stretchy pants.
Love Y'all,
Elder Stephen
