Yall,

Sorry I wasn't able to write last week. A fair amount happened last week. We got moved back into my old area, they moved the ZL area to be where we are. We now have another companionship in our district and our ward. I dont have a whole lot of time to email. I am emailing today because tomorrow we have a mission tour with Elder Pearson of the First Quorum of the 70. I am really excited for that. Im sorry for the brevity. I will write more next week.

Yall,

This coming week is going to be the last of the transfer. So, it's been pretty crazy because time has gone by really fast. Elder Parkinson and I have been working pretty hard and finding a fair amount of people. We received two referrals and it's been awesome. We had transfer calls (which is when we get to make our suggestions for transfers). We also had a meeting about adding biking areas into the mission and taking away cars. We are going to go up in the number of missionaries but we need to keep the same amount of cars. Lots of administrative work, but it was fine. We're using our time to the most we can. 

Today I went to the temple and something crazy happened. I ran into Jaden Torbenson. Jaden and I went to high school together for 3 years. He moved back to San Diego right after high school and I thought he was going to be in Portugal, but he got sick on his mission and came back for a little bit. This morning I was supposed to be at the temple at 8, but the rest of our group was a little bit late so we got there at 9. While I was about to go in, I ran into Jaden and it was really cool to see him. Afterwards, we took pictures and talked for a little bit. It was so cool to have seen him.

Yall,

So we had an amazing Zone Conference this week. We received a wonderful training on how to better use Facebook as a misisonary, another one on how to become better teacher and more on things like The Plan of Salvation. Elder Parkinson and I were asked to give a training on how to practice teaching and how to better use opportunities to teach people about the Plan of Salvation. That was wonderful opportunity to get to learn how to do those things better. 

Elder Parkinson and I have started both trying to use Scriptures more, and better in our teaching and contacting. It has been smashing. We have both learned so much through teaching with the Spirit. Elder Parkinson and I have a lot of fun together too. I am so grateful to have him as my companion. 

Another exciting update in my life, I have a harmonica and now I can play hymns haha. It doesn't sound the best, but it's okay. 

This last Friday night, I went to another area for the day to do exchanges with one of the district leaders (because we are Zone Leaders, we get to do exchanges with all of the district leaders in our zone). I was with Elder Weathers. He is so awesome! I really loved spending a day teaching with Elder Weathers. We both learned some pretty cool things and so that was awesome. 

I am so blessed to be here where I need to be. Thank you all for your love and support. I love all of you so much!
